Modern name is Mammalapuram. We had decided that this place is a good place for my wife Liz to first meet India. We were met by John Prabakhar, whose friends got us past immigration in a few moments then into the VIP lounge where he met us in spite of having a very recently broken leg. He provided a police car that drove us to Mahabalipuram. At the end of Liz's stay we spent our final night at The Hilton Trident hotel next to the airport where Madhu came to meet me to escort me back to my duty in Tirupate. At the end of my stay Gopi escorted me back to Mahabalipuram. We stayed in the Golden Sun Resort. | |
