| INDIA: My Early Pictures | |
| These were taken as slides with an inexpensive SLR film camera and recently scanned into my computer. My eventual aim is to provide a small record of the changes I have seen during 22 visits over a period of 27 years. The greatest number will be from Tirupati where I have visited 18 times to teach in Sri Venkateshwara University, in the Departments of Botany, Virology/Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology. I stay at the SVU guesthouse on the road from Tirupati to Chittoor and Bangalore. I have also visited New Delhi, Bombay, Goa, Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, Chittoor, and Madurai. My visits start in Madras/Chennai, sometimes at the small coastal town of Mahabalipuram. |
