  These are collections of photos that are already on my main India Pictures pages, arranged partly to show changes over the years 1982 - 2015. It is also an excercise in nostalgia for me,
I first went there in 1982 to the Botany Department in Sri Venkateswara University SVU) to teach a microbial physiology course. I returned for many visits , mainly to the virology, microbiology and biochemistry departments. I always stayed in the SVU guest house.
   
  This page is of favourite pictures of Tirupati at play. I could not think of a better title for this set. In later years my camera had a folding screen so that i could take pictures that the subjects could not see.

1984 The temple tank at the waterfall temple at Kapilatheertham. In these earlier days it was wonderfully peaceful. The local boys used it as a swimming pool

2003 Some my (unwsnted) followers climbed onto the cricket ground wall to say goodbye I don't know their game. The beggar did not like me I think
